When you Worship God choose your Bible Wisely

john316-sunrise-gansbaaiThis morning  i felt like praising God with a song. i picked up my guitar and the Holy Spirit prompted me to sing Psalm 100. I did so and looked up the song on the internet as i was sitting in front of my computer at the time. i started signing and the words displayed was from the NIV translation.

 

As i was signing i once again noticed why reading the NIV is not a good idea as it take away whom God really is. This is one verse from the NIV

“give thanks to him and praise his name”

Look to the words him. My God is worthy of Him and not him

This is the same verse in the NKJV

Be thankful to Him, and bless His name

Next time you take your Bible to worship God choose wisely as the NIV deny whom God and Jesus really is

This is the Psalm i sang this morning

Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands!
Serve the Lord with gladness;
Come before His presence with singing.
Know that the Lord, He is God;
It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,
And into His courts with praise.
Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.
For the Lord is good;
His mercy is everlasting,
And His truth endures to all generations.

antigaycame across this post on facebook. Just moved to Cape Town a few months ago and appears people not very loveable towards stuff like this. But the word of God is what it is and yes Jesus loves the whole world but He hates sin. i was accused of how can i say God hates. I never said God hates people but the “sin” i mean the bible say ” For Gos so loved the world that He gave His only Son that whosoever (gays,sinners,murderers,etc) believe Him shall not perish but receive a  FREE gift of eternal life. Hey when i look at a man and a woman i can see they compatible. Need i say more. Have a blessed day with Jesus. Johan

i am a Christian

cross4When I say…”i am a Christian” i’m not shouting, “i am saved” i’m whispering, “i was lost”. That is why i chose this way.

When i say…”i am a Christian” i don’t speak of this with pride. i’m confessing that i stumble and need someone to be my guide.

When i say…”i am a Christian” i’m not trying to be strong. i’m professing that i’m weak and pray for strength to carry on.

When i say…”i am a Christian” i’m not bragging of success. i’m admitting i have failed and cannot ever pay the debt.

When i say…”i am a Christian” i’m not claiming to be perfect, my flaws are all too visible, but God believes i’m worth it.

When i say…”i am a Christian” i still feel the sting of pain i have my share of heartaches which is why i speak His name.

When i say…”i am a Christian” i do not wish to judge. i have no authority. i only know i’m loved by Jesus.

Peace for Grabouw

grabouw4jesusin 2013 and 2014 on my way to Cape Town with the cross i stopped over at Grabouw fpr the night and was blessed with a place to stay there. The first time i came into town i felt in my spirit that this town was very hostile and a lot of the people not very friendly. The second time i felt the same as it seems there is a lot of unhappy people there. As we know the only person that makes us unhappy is Satan. They have been having a lot of problems with the people stoning cars on the N2 which is also the main route to Cape Town. This has cause the N2 to be closed a number of time and this week it has been very bad. i woke up this morning with a heavy burden for Grabouw and posted this prayer on there Face Book group. This photo was also taken by David Morris from Grabouw at the exact spot where the trouble is

Father i come to you in Jesus name. i ask that you will protect the people of Grabouw that is going through a difficult time right this moment. i come against all the evil demonic forces that is trying to destroy the town of Grabouw right now in Jesus name.i call to naught all demonic and evil doings that is going on there in Jesus name. i also speak peace into the situation over Grabouw and its people in Jesus name. Lord i ask that you send angels into that area to protect the people and ask that you will restore the order there. Lord whatever the problems the people have in Grabouw i ask that it will be resolved peacefully. i ask Lord that the people will work together and not against each other to resolve there issues rather than turn to violence. i thank you Lord that the N2 will be restored as many have to get to work and take there children to school and i pray for protection over them that no harm will be done to anybody. Father in the name of Jesus Christ i speak peace over Grabouw right now in the name that is above any other name Jesus. Satan go in Jesus name. Fill every person with peace right this moment in Jesus name. AMEN
